Last updated: Jun 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is published by CELS LLP (the “Company”, “we” or “us”), and explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with your use of: (a) the website located at https://cels.com and its subdomains (the “Website”); and (b) Cels software platform (the “Software”) to our customers. This Policy is drafted by reference to internationally recognised data protection principles — such as lawfulness, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, confidentiality and accountability

1. Who We Are

1.1 The Company is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data collected through the Website and in connection with customer relationships for the Software.
1.2 Questions about this Policy or about how we handle personal data may be directed to the contact details set out in clause 12.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Information you provide directly through the Website: when you submit an enquiry, request a quotation, contact us, or otherwise communicate with us through the Website, we collect the information you choose to provide, which typically includes your name, business email address, telephone number, employer/organisation, and the content of your message.
2.2 Information collected automatically through the Website: when you browse the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring/exit pages, approximate geographic location, and information about how you interact with the Website.
2.3 Information provided in connection with the Software: where a customer licenses the Software, we collect personal data that the customer provides to us for the purposes of administering that relationship, including contact and administrative details of the customer’s personnel responsible for ordering, licence administration, and support.
2.4 Information accessed in connection with support: where our personnel are given access to a customer’s on-premises environment to provide support or troubleshooting, we may access personal data processed within the Software solely for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving the relevant issue.

3. Purposes for Which We Use Personal Data

3.1 We use personal data described in clause 2 for the following purposes:

4. Basis for Processing

4.1 We process personal data only where we have an appropriate basis to do so, which, depending on the applicable law and the circumstances, will generally be one or more of the following: (a) the processing is necessary to take steps requested by you prior to entering into a contract, or to perform a contract; (b) the processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests; (c) you have given consent; or (d) the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

5. Data Retention

5.1 We retain personal data processed by us under this Policy only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in clause 3, including for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting, regulatory or reporting requirements that apply to us.
5.2 Where personal data is no longer needed for any of the purposes for which it was collected, we will delete or anonymise it, or, where immediate deletion is not possible, securely isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

6. Your Rights

6.1 Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, request a copy of your data, or withdraw consent where applicable.
6.2 To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in clause 12.
6.3 If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

7. Sharing of Personal Data

7.1 We do not sell personal data collected through the Website or the Software.
7.2 We may share personal data with service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, and email delivery, who are required to protect personal data and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared with them.
7.3 We may also share personal data with professional advisers, and with regulators, courts or other public authorities, where required by applicable law.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

8.1 The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, to remember your preferences, to measure and analyse how the Website is used, and to help us understand and improve visitor experience.
8.2 Cookies used on the Website may include essential cookies (required for the Website to function), and analytics cookies (for example, from third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics or comparable providers), which help us understand aggregate visitor behaviour.
8.3 Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies, and you may manage or withdraw your cookie preferences through your browser settings or, where available, a cookie consent tool on the Website.

9. International Transfers

9.1 Given that the Company, its Affiliates and its service providers may operate from different countries, personal data collected through the Website may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the country in which you are located.
9.2 Where such a transfer is subject to additional legal requirements, we will take appropriate measures as required under applicable law to protect the personal data being transferred.

10. Security

10.1 We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage.
10.2 No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
